The Graduate Support Program (GSP) administered its Diagnostic Examination last March 26, 2026, marking a crucial phase in the preparation of aspiring Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) for the upcoming Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE). Held as part of the program’s structured review initiative, the diagnostic exam gathered graduates to assess their current level of competency across CPALE cluster subjects. The examination provided a comprehensive evaluation of each graduate’s strengths and areas for improvement, serving as a basis for more focused and strategic review plans in the months leading up to the CPALE on May 24, 25, and 26, 2026. By identifying knowledge gaps early, the activity supports the refinement of study strategies, directs attention to critical subject areas requiring further mastery, and promotes a more structured and efficient review process, ultimately enhancing overall readiness and increasing the likelihood of success. More than a standard assessment, the diagnostic exam was positioned as a meaningful starting point in the graduates’ journey toward professional qualification. It reinforced the importance of discipline, consistency, and intentional learning—qualities essential in navigating the rigorous CPALE preparation process. Graduates were also encouraged to adopt a growth-oriented mindset, recognizing that the results of the examination are not endpoints but valuable tools for self-improvement. Each answer sheet, organizers noted, reflects not only academic knowledge but also the determination to overcome challenges and strive for excellence. The Graduate Support Program continues to emphasize holistic preparation by combining academic support with mentorship and guided review. With this initiative, the GSP reaffirms its commitment to helping future CPAs build a strong foundation, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to succeed in one of the country’s most demanding professional examinations. As the review season progresses, participants are urged to remain focused and proactive in their preparation, using insights from the diagnostic exam as a roadmap toward achieving their goal of earning the CPA title.
